product description:

Protesters began occupying Howard’s Blackburn University Center on October 12, with numbers ranging from two dozen toover 50 studentsat various timesduring the sit-in The next day, the Handmaids have gathered in the lobby of a hotel where they are lined up facing Serena Joy, who walks down the row looking each of them over. She sees Jeanine and orders Aunt Lydia to remove “the damaged ones.” Aunt Lydia protests, but Serena Joy is unrelenting and walks away. Aunt Lydia is left to single out the Handmaidswho have been mutilated [banning sanctuary cities] — and it's not that I don't give a sh*t — but I wasn't strategically planning to release this song when this happened. The song is embedded in what being American is at this point. When you use phrases like "Muslim ban," no matter how you word it, [the world] knows exactly what you're saying. You're saying that 1.6 billion people aren't worthy of coming into the United States. But this allows Donald Trump to talk to his constituents and say that he carried out his ban. But of course all that will do is allow ISIS and Al-Qaeda to recruit off of that and say, "Everything we've told you about America is true, they can't be trusted, they're hypocrites, they're liars, and they hate Muslims." None of which is true, but they will certainly recruit off that.
