I have met with a few record labels. I played one of my older songs called, "No One". The guy that listened to it, he was like, "Wow, I feel like I'm learning so much about you," but in a weird negative way that he felt like it was too personal, like he was reading my diary. It's this song that's got, like, I belong to no one, or whatever. It's about someone hitting on you and you're like, "Yeah." The one I wrote about my friend who deleted me on Facebook after finding that. It was [about this time he drunkenly] came onto me and in my anger, I just wrote it in 30 minutes. "I’ve actually come off Twitter completely. I can’t read it," he said. "I go on it and there’s nothing but people saying mean things. Twitter’s a platform for that. One comment ruins your day. But that’s why I’ve come off it. The head-f*ck for me has been trying to work out why people dislike me so much." “It’s always going to be part of the story,” she says of the Black neighborhoods she films in. “I call [the show] a time capsule of South L.A. because from season one to season four, it’s different.
